This 7.6 mile run is one of the oldest events in San Francisco. Started in 1912, as a precursor to the 1915 Pan Pacific International Exposition, the race starts downtown near the Embarcadero (the "bay") and ends at Ocean Beach (the "breakers").

This race features world-class runners as well as thousands of costumed runners out for a fun day of running and walking through San Francisco.

Every year the costumes get crazier and funnier. Don't miss this yearly event.
