Don't miss Hamburger Mary's for a fun atmosphere, great diner food, and a great time! The wacky atmosphere in this bar/diner/restaurant includes old 50's memorabilia and tacky ornaments arranged in a fun collage. On tap, there's Wyders Cider, Peach Cyder, and Golden Bear Lager just to name a few. Also, appetizers include: chicken tenders (5.50), beer-batered onion rings (4.95) and you must try Mary's Own Homefries (4.25). The homefries are real slices of potatoes fried and crispy with seasonings. There's also the famous hamburger list of 10 varieties of hamburgers. |
So you're in the Castro and suddenly you're dying for a juicy burger! There is no better burger in SF than at Hot n Hunky. The Italian Stallion comes with mozzarella and olives-mmmmmm! There is many a combo, and the fries are good too! Want a huge yummy shake? Hot n Hunky offers a quick, fun dinning experience! The decor matches that of a diner and don't forget all the posters of Marylin Monroe! This place gets packed, but it's worth it! 4039 18th St. @ Castro |
This Max's diner sports a blue plate special that's to die for. As diners go, Max's has been around for a while, and you can see why. The menu is enormous as are the portions. Try the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. If you're a mashed potatoes freak, you'll love 'em here. The variety is wonderful, but it's best to go for the down and dirty diner food. Don't miss out! American dinner has never tasted so good! 311 3rd St. @ Folsom |
